Press Release

PATRIZIA, a leading partner for global real assets, welcomes two new tenants in the recently renovated office building The Louise on Avenue Louise in Brussels. French bank Société Générale and international law firm Mayer Brown will move into The Louise in 2025.

The Louise was designed to respond flexibly to the evolving needs of modern workplaces. The building, with its unique and vibrant spaces, such as the stylish rooftop terrace and the first floor with a range of catering and retail offerings, also responds to employees’ growing requirement for a hybrid workplace.

The Belgian branch of law firm Mayer Brown may call the 18th floor (1,048 m2) of The Louise its new workplace from June 1, 2025. Société Générale, for its part, is entering into a lease agreement for half of the 20th floor (524 m2) of the total 24-story office building. The start date of that lease is March 1, 2025.

Marion Sickersen, Chief Country Officer Belgium of Société Générale, said, “Société Générale is delighted to move into The Louise with its Belgian Investment Banking and Private Banking office. We were convinced by the prestige and quality of the building’s facilities, which perfectly match our ambitions in terms of employee well-being and customer service. This milestone will embody a new momentum in the development of our Belgian franchise.”

Catering store

The catering business Fonteyne The Kitchen will open its doors on the ground floor of The Louise in the course of September. Tenants and locals alike will be able to enjoy take-out meals such as sandwiches, salads and ready-made dishes. In early 2025, Fonteyne will also open a barista bar and lunch buffet specifically for The Louise’s tenants. Fonteyne will also take care of catering for the auditorium and meeting rooms of The Louise and business club Hotel Wielemans.

Suzy Denys, Country Manager BeLux at PATRIZIA welcomes the new tenants with open arms: “When renovating The Louise, we emphasized smart technology, user well-being, ambitious sustainability goals and Grade A office facilities. We find that this approach is paying off, with Société Générale and Mayer Brown convinced of what The Louise has to offer. We also have an in-principle agreement with three more tenants. That means that currently half of The Louise is still available for lease.”
